I love the vibrant yellow on this casino chip that I’ve painted. The original is from the 1960′s and has diamond molding as you can see. A little Las Vegas history. The California Club operated on Fremont Street in Las Vegas from 1946 to 1970. It was considered a “Locals” casino and did not have any hotel rooms attached to it and was owned and operated by Phil Long and his
partner George Milford. In 1970, I believe the casino became The Friendly Club then combined into the Golden Nugget shortly after its purchase by Steve Wynn.
I just poured a fresh coat of resin on this little casino chip. It looks super sharp at 24 inch diameter on solid wood. Enjoy!
